Surface Spectrum Curated by Mark Murphy Opens April 27

Surface Spectrum is a museum-inspired exhibition curated by Mark Murphy, opening at Mash Gallery on April 27, from 7 PM to 10 PM. (Above, FranO'Neill, Sew Me Up, 48 x 48 inches, 2018).


Surface Spectrum is a multi-surface showcase will feature artists from around the world in celebration of painting, sculpture, mixed media, installation; and in celebration of Gestural Painting, Textile Arts, Art Brut, Earth Works, and Abstraction. Surface Spectrum continues curator Mark Murphy’s vision of showcasing color and texture in a follow-up exhibit to the well-received Radiant Spectrum. Much like the previous exhibition, Surface Spectrum demonstrates a multi-disciplined approach to contemporary art featuring fluid brush strokes, dimensional adornments, sculptural treatments, textiles and a mix of all of the fore mentioned.
