Los Angeles, Mash Gallery presents “Radiant Spectrum” curated by Mark Murphy on March 9 through April 20th with a special opening reception on Saturday, March 9 from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
Radiant Spectrum is a vibrant art exhibition celebrating color by 16 contemporary artists showcasing painting, drawing, sculpture and mixed media installation. Curated by publisher and designer, Mark Murphy, who shares, “Radiant Spectrum establishes color as a central character, and presents an eclectic variety of modern expressions created specifically for this salon-inspired installation.”
Attendees of
Radiant Spectrum at Mash Gallery will find themselves emerged into a world composed of distinguished forms and narratives complimenting art brut and contemporary art while celebrating influences of Abstract Expressionism, Cubism, and Surrealism. Art collectors and aficionados will be presented with traditional and non-traditional gallery installations that will include sculptural forms, pinned works on paper and framed presentations.

Los Angeles artist, Christian Clayton presents ten new mixed media constructions, “Emotion,” comprised of a series of textures, patterns, and color fields that all harmonize into expressive portraits.
San Diego artist and former biologist, Kelsey Brookes introduces “Untitled Molecular Study,” a new miniature painting in preparation of a larger body of molecular paintings.
New York artist, Bonnie Marie Smith presents a wall installation of candy-colored ceramics that she describes, “These are brightly colored objects that should be played with like toys.”
