“There is something magical taking place, as the photography becomes an intimate poem shared between the models and myself under water. Working underwater is fascinating, as the shared experience takes over, is emotional, and connects all of us in a really positive way. Somehow this exchange radiates out of the final piece,” Gisele passionately shares.
Gisele Lubsen’s photographic style might be described as a mythological theatre play shared between Aphrodite and Apollo. Appropriate, as Gisele, originally from Switzerland, spends much of her time in Greece every year.
“My photography is an underwater story that renders the decisive moment to overcome our fears and become courageous.” Gisele Lubsen continues to exhibit her photography around the world while providing her photographic services to clients looking for a one-of-a-kind aquatic experience.
